My dear mother,I am allright at present but we have had an awful time. The 2/Worcestershire Regt has again made its name of which you will no doubt hear later. We charged over 500 yds of open ground & held it. We received the congrats of General Gough i/c 9th Corps. I am at present in command of B Coy, and am one of the few left.We are moving off again today very soon so no time to write.Your loving son Tom
