We have just heard of Michael's passing at the age of 76.In business he was chairman of CF Roberts, a well known electrical company based in Hereford and Cheltenham.A keen support of Hereford FC, he served as a director of Hereford United when Peter Hill was chairman of the club. His appointment started in June 1991 and lasted until September 1995.In 2012 he purchased 5000 shares in Hereford United from former vice-chairman Tim Russon which gave him a 12% share in the club.
