Annual OH in London Dinner
Twelve attend 3rd Reunion Dinner Rather than return to The Union Jack Club for this our third evening function since 2017, instead we met as from 6pm at The Oyster Shed (other dishes & delicacies available!) in The Square Mile for pre-dinner drinks in a very noisy ground floor public bar area.No set menu?After later ascending to a private room on the first floor overlooking the river, by way of a change from the usual fixed price 3-course pre-ordered meal, this year members were free to choose that which they fancied from the A La Carte menu. Moreover, we didn’t call for any advance payments this time. As a result, OHs were able to settle their own individual bill at the end of the function with relative ease. This alternative plan was made that much easier as there were, in the end only TWELVE people present.THE FOURTH SEMI-FORMAL DINNER was scheduled to take place on 23rd APRIL 2020. However, following the COVID-19 (Corona Virus) outbreak in PRC leading to a pandemic, all reunions during 2020 were cancelled.
